Norrgården is situated in the southwest of the Aland Islands.

The garden, about 1,5 acres, consists of several different rooms and parts. Esthetical experiences and combinations of colours are more important than single plants but you will also find a great number of unusual species.

The garden is based on variety, made to welcome especially birds and butterflies but also bats, frogs and hedgehogs. We have two ponds.
An important element through the whole garden is stone in various combinations.

Norrgarden belongs to Seppo Sarkkinen, who is a photographer by profession and handyman in the garden, and Titte Törnroth-Sarkkinen, a journalist who does the planting.

The garden is private but in summer 2012 it will be open for visitors 17/6, 8/7 and 12/8 between 5 pm and 7 pm.

We also welcome groups of a minimum 15 persons, book in advance.

The entrance fee is 5 euro per person.

You will find us approximately 22 kilometres from Mariehamn. Drive road number 3, turn right to Västeränga in Söderby and drive another 6,6 kilometres.
The address is Flakavägen 668, Västeränga, Lemland.

Welcome to Norrgården!
